At around 9:10 PM yesterday (August 11), a fire broke out on a moving truck along the Yangpyeong-bound lanes of the Jungbu Naeryuk Expressway near Gimcheon Tunnel 3 in Apo-eup, Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang Province.

Fire authorities mobilized 12 vehicles and 34 personnel, extinguishing the flames in about an hour at around 10:15 PM.

While there were no casualties, all lanes were blocked to handle the accident, causing a vehicle tailback of about 3 kilometers behind the scene.

Fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire.
