Meanwhile, the National Fire Agency announced that it has issued a national fire mobilization order, deploying firefighting resources from across the country to support the supply of agricultural and domestic water in the Gyeongnam region.

Some 200 water tanker trucks belonging to provincial and municipal fire headquarters will be deployed to the Gyeongnam region to conduct water supply support activities through August 13.

This marks the second time a national fire mobilization order has been issued due to a drought, following Gangneung in August of last year.
