A fire broke out at a 15-story apartment building in Gayang-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, at around 4:55 PM today (August 11), with firefighters currently conducting extinguishing operations.

Responding to reports of flames and smoke visible from the 15th floor, the top floor of the apartment, firefighters stated that they succeeded in containing the initial blaze at 5:19 PM.

No casualties have been reported so far.

Firefighters are focusing on completely extinguishing the remaining flames.
