Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed on the 11th, local time, that Ukraine was attacked by Russia using North Korean-made ballistic missiles.

Writing on social media that day, President Zelenskyy stated that the Zaporizhzhia region had been targeted by Russian attacks overnight, saying, "It was attacked by North Korean ballistic missiles, Zircon missiles, and guided aerial bombs."

He wrote, "Every measure taken by Russia, namely increasing the production of ballistic missiles, bringing in North Korean equipment, and preparing for mobilization, shows that Moscow is preparing for an escalation of the war rather than peace."

President Zelenskyy had previously claimed on June 30 that Russia attacked Ukraine with North Korean missiles for the first time in about a year, since August of last year.

In a national address the day before, President Zelenskyy said, "Russia is preparing to additionally deploy North Korean troops to its territory," and added, "We have also received additional ballistic missiles from North Korea."
