The special police investigation team probing the passenger plane disaster at Muan Airport announced that it is conducting raids starting at 9:00 a.m. today (August 11) on the Korea Airports Corporation, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the Busan Regional Aviation Administration.

The investigation team explained that the searches are aimed at securing additional materials related to charges of professional negligence resulting in death or injury.

Police, who have booked 74 individuals so far, are also reviewing whether to apply charges under the Serious Accidents Punishment Act.
