Actor Kim Ji-won has donated 100 million won to Seoul National University Children's Hospital to support medical expenses for low-income patients.
While filming the upcoming SBS drama "Dr. X: Age of the White Mafia," scheduled to air in October, Kim reportedly decided to make the donation after witnessing firsthand the struggles of hardworking medical staff and sick children.
She added that she wanted to send her gratitude and support to the medical professionals and young patients who are still working hard and fighting their illnesses.
The donation will be used to alleviate the financial burden of treatment for children with severe, rare, and intractable diseases and their families who come from all over the country, ensuring they can receive treatment in a safer and more comfortable environment.
