Following an incident where a concrete structure fell from the ceiling of Pohang's K League stadium, the Korea Professional Football League has initiated emergency safety inspections across all clubs.

Last Saturday, during the match between Pohang and Ulsan, a piece of concrete fell onto a table in the away fans' cheering section.

Fortunately, a major accident was averted, but the K League requested an investigation into the circumstances and ordered emergency safety inspections for all clubs today (August 10).

Pohang Steelers, whose home ground Steelyard was completed in 1990, stated, "We will complete the repair and reinforcement work before our home match on the 19th."
