Figure skating national team athlete Cha Jun-hwan captivated the ice rink by transforming perfectly into the webtoon protagonist Sung Jin-woo.

His agency, Fantagio, announced that Cha successfully completed the first performance of the ice show "Solo Leveling on ICE" held on the 7th at the Mokdong Indoor Ice Rink in Seoul.

"Solo Leveling on ICE" is a musical-style ice show based on the hit webtoon and web novel of the same name, depicting the journey of the weakest hunter in humanity who awakens and grows into the strongest hunter.

Playing the protagonist Sung Jin-woo in this performance, Cha drew explosive cheers from the audience with his overwhelming skating performance. In particular, going beyond a simple figure skating performance, he directly handled lines, acting, and musical numbers, multidimensionally completing the character's powerful growth narrative.

Cha's challenge did not stop at his on-stage performance. He also participated directly in the co-choreography and directing of this performance, showcasing his versatile capabilities. Favorable reviews followed, noting that he further elevated the production's quality by translating the emotional lines of each character into choreography based on a deep understanding of the original work.

Having flawlessly pulled off figure skating, acting, singing, and directing in his first-ever musical-style ice show, expectations are high for Cha's future stages as he once again proved his capabilities as an all-rounder.

Meanwhile, the ice show "Solo Leveling on ICE" starring Cha Jun-hwan will meet audiences at the Mokdong Ice Rink until the 17th.
