2. Amid this situation, public criticism is escalating over the proposal suggested on the 7th by Democratic Party lawmaker Hwang Hee to utilize retired buses as housing. The People Power Party, stepping up its offensive day after day, criticized the proposal as irresponsible nonsense that mocks young people and plays with the public, retorting, "We hope the Democratic Party headquarters and its lawmakers' offices relocate to retired buses first." President Lee Jae-myung will preside over the second public-private joint inspection meeting on mega-projects at the Blue House starting shortly at 2:00 p.m. Held about a month after the previous meeting on the 6th of last month, today's meeting is scheduled to discuss implementation status checks, regulations to support projects, government innovation promotion plans, and supply plans for semiconductor cluster sites, electricity, and water.
