Group BIGBANG has officially announced their spectacular return by confirming the release of a new song on their 20th debut anniversary.

YG Entertainment released the title poster for the 'BIGBANG Digital Single [BiiiG]' through its official blog on the 10th, announcing that the new digital single 'BiiiG' will be released at 6 p.m. on August 19. The released poster captures BIGBANG's signature intense aura, featuring three colors—blue, red, and yellow—blending in pitch-black darkness, with the members' silhouettes and stylish 'BiiiG' typography placed below.

The poster also revealed for the first time the title of the new song, 'BiiiG', which had previously been veiled in secrecy. Derived from the word 'BIG', meaning large or massive, the title naturally connects with the group name BIGBANG's identity. The unique spelling, which twists a familiar word in their own way, draws attention and raises expectations for the expanded musical world and scale they will showcase through it.

YG Entertainment stated, "'BiiiG' is a song that most vividly shows the present of BIGBANG, who is celebrating their 20th debut anniversary," adding, "You can look forward to another musical spectrum that BIGBANG, who has built their own unrivaled musical world for a long time, will present."

This new song release by BIGBANG comes about 4 years and 4 months after their digital single 'Still Life', released in April 2022. At that time, BIGBANG swept the top spots on major domestic and international music charts even without separate broadcast activities, proving their unwavering influence by winning the Digital Music Division Bonsang at the 37th Golden Disc Awards.

BIGBANG has produced numerous mega-hit songs such as 'Lies', 'Last Farewell', 'Day by Day', 'FANTASTIC BABY', 'LOSER', 'BANG BANG BANG', and 'BAE BAE', and is evaluated for laying the foundation for the global K-pop craze with their unrivaled musicality, producing ability, and cultural influence encompassing fashion and performance. Global music fans' attention is focused on their new steps to unfold through this new song.

Meanwhile, along with the release of the new song 'BiiiG', BIGBANG will embark on their 20th debut anniversary world tour 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR <XX : COSMOS>'. Starting in Goyang on the 21st, they will embark on a grand journey spanning a total of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Additional hosting regions will also be sequentially revealed to expand the fever of the global tour.
