'Running Man' proved its solid staying power by ranking No. 1 in 2049 viewership among entertainment shows in the same time slot for six consecutive weeks.

Aired on the 9th, SBS 'Running Man' recorded a target viewership of 1.5% for the '2049 demographic' (based on Nielsen Korea's metropolitan household statistics), soaring up to a peak of 1.8% to maintain its position as the top entertainment program in its time slot.

The episode featured a 'Jongno Marble' race across various spots in Jongno. Hong Jin-ho, appearing as a guest after a long time, delivered massive laughs to viewers with his noticeably changed visuals and his signature pronunciation issues, showcasing his undeniable presence.

Comedian JiU, making her first appearance on the show, targeted the next 'Yoo Line' by closely shadowing Yu Jae-seok, turning the set into a sea of laughter. Expressing her excitement by saying, "It feels like my dream has come true," JiU also rushed over to Yu Jae-seok uncalled for upon hearing that being next to Yu Jae-seok guarantees screen time, showing off her shameless sociability by asking, "Sunbaenim, why?" When Yu Jae-seok gave a firm refusal, JiU joked, "You're giving me so much good advice that I'm about to tear up," proving her exceptional variety show instincts.

Meanwhile, the 'Jongno Marble' race ended in a victory for Kim Jong-kook's team following a fierce battle between Yu Jae-seok's team and Kim Jong-kook's team.

With three spicy penalties awaiting—water slaps, drinking bitter herbal tea, and water buckets—Yu Jae-seok drew ultimate laughter until the very end by showing off his unmatched 'unlucky hand' by drawing all three penalties in the running ball draw.
