Let's take a look at the second useful news item.

I have brought one more health-related story.

A joint research team from prestigious universities including Tsinghua University in China and New York University in the United States has studied ways to delay dementia.

It turns out that managing just these three things—blood pressure, blood sugar, and smoking—can help people spend their old age free of dementia.

The study revealed that maintaining normal blood pressure and blood sugar levels starting from age 48 and not smoking extends a dementia-free life by an average of 13 more years.

In addition, regardless of the number of risk factors, women lived longer without dementia than men.

When there were none of the three risk factors at all, women were found to be able to live without dementia for about 31 years, and men for about 29 years.

Considering that the average age at the start of the study was 56, this means women could live a life without worrying about dementia until age 87, and men until age 85.
