At around 6:00 p.m. today (August 9), a passenger car driven by a person in their 20s, identified as A, collided with an SUV traveling ahead on a three-lane one-way road near the Hanam Industrial Complex in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju-Jeonnam.

Due to the impact, the passenger car crossed the centerline and collided head-on with another passenger car coming from the opposite direction.

A total of six people sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor and were transported to the hospital.

Authorities determined that none of the drivers involved were under the influence of alcohol or driving without a license at the time.

Police believe the accident occurred while A was changing lanes and are currently investigating the exact cause and circumstances of the crash.
