A blackout, presumed to have been caused by a faulty circuit breaker, struck an apartment complex with around 1,600 households in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, at around 5:50 AM yesterday (the 8th), causing inconvenience to residents.

Recovery work was completed about seven hours later at around 1:15 PM.

An official from the Korea Electric Power Corporation stated, "It was a blackout caused by a defect in the apartment's internal facilities, and we supported the restoration efforts by assisting with material supply."
