Lee Kang-in, who has joined Spanish powerhouse Atletico Madrid, showed a strong competitive drive and previewed his performances for the new season during his first official press conference after the transfer.

After practicing with his new teammates for the first time yesterday (August 7), Lee attended the press conference today alongside manager Diego Simeone.

Having been assigned the number 7 jersey, which typically symbolizes a team's ace, he expressed an extraordinary drive to win.

[Lee Kang-in / Atletico Madrid Forward: I think I am a player who is desperate to improve every single moment. For me, the most important things are lifting more trophies, winning, and how much I can help the team.]

He confessed that his decision to transfer was driven by manager Simeone's strong interest and calls.

Simeone shared an anecdote about Lee treating the entire squad to Korean food yesterday evening, praising his personal character.

[Diego Simeone / Atletico Madrid Manager: Just from his very first actions, we could see how humble Lee is and how much he cares about our team.]
