Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants in Major League Baseball has extended his hitting streak to six consecutive games.

Starting as the number two batter and right fielder in a home game against the Detroit Tigers at Oracle Park in San Francisco, Lee finished the game with one hit in three at-bats, one walk, two RBIs, and one run scored.

Lee got on base with a walk in the bottom of the first inning and crossed home plate during Rafael Devers' home run to center field to score. In the bottom of the second inning with the score tied at 2-2 and two outs and the bases loaded, he scooped up a low fastball to drive in a clean two-run single to center field.

This hit proved to be the game-winning run.

San Francisco won 5-2, and Lee maintained his season batting average at .303.

San Diego Padres infielder Song Sung-mun started as the number nine batter and second baseman in a home game against the Houston Astros, recording one hit in two at-bats.

Atlanta Braves infielder Kim Ha-seong started as the number nine batter and shortstop in an away game against the New York Yankees, recording no hits in two at-bats with one strikeout.

Atlanta, leading the National League East, lost 3-2 in a 10th-inning extra-inning tiebreaker, bringing their eight-game winning streak to an end.
