A power outage occurred at a department store in Mi-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, today (August 7), causing customers to evacuate.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) stated that a blackout occurred at around 4:10 PM due to an internal power equipment malfunction at the Lotte Department Store in Mi-dong, but power supply was normalized at around 5:40 PM.

Fire authorities also received a report at around 5:10 PM that people were trapped inside an elevator, but they were reportedly rescued.
