A female tenant in her 30s has been arrested by police for wielding a weapon against her landlord while he was repairing a toilet in a multi-family housing unit in Busan.

The Busan Sasang Police Station announced that it had arrested a woman in her 30s, identified as A, at the scene on charges of attacking a man in his 70s, identified as B, with a weapon at around 1:00 p.m. today.

It was confirmed that B, the landlord, was fixing the toilet inside the home of his tenant, A.

Reports indicated that only A and B were present at the scene at the time of the incident.

B sustained injuries to his head and was transported to a nearby hospital.

Police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for A after investigating the specific circumstances surrounding the incident.
