A shooting occurred at a middle school in Nonthaburi, a northwestern suburb of Bangkok, Thailand, on the morning of the 7th, local time, leaving at least 7 people dead, including the suspect, and 15 others injured.

The 15-year-old suspect is a student of the school where the shooting took place. After opening fire at the school, the suspect reportedly took their own life as police arrived at the scene.

The suspect's grandparents were found shot to death at the suspect's home located several kilometers away from the school.

Police believe the suspect killed the grandparents before opening fire at the school and are investigating the motive and circumstances of the crime by questioning the suspect's father and others.
