Ahead of its opening this October, the Busan International Film Festival has released the official posters for the 31st Busan International Film Festival and the 21st Asian Contents & Film Market.

The core motif of the official poster for the 31st Busan International Film Festival is a crowd of figures. Capturing the audiences who visited the festival last year, this poster highlights moviegoers not merely as observers of the festival, but as participants who help complete it together.

The diverse appearances and narratives of those who found the festival with their own perspectives blend together within the poster, recalling the presence of the audience at the center of the festival. The figures embodying the crowd symbolize the numerous encounters and moments that make up the festival, capturing the stories of attendees experiencing the festival in their own ways as a single landscape. Through this, it delivers the message that the countless experiences of the audience come together to finally complete a single film festival.

This official poster was planned and designed by Art Director Choi Soon-dae, who has worked as an art director since the 2nd Busan International Film Festival, designing posters and festival spaces.

Art Director Choi Soon-dae shared the planning intent, stating, "What has always completed the film festival is the presence of the audiences who filled the seats," and adding, "I worked on the poster with the meaning that the film festival already becomes a single film in every moment of the audience arriving at the venue, staying, and waiting for the film."

Raising anticipation by unveiling the official poster, the 31st Busan International Film Festival will be held for ten days from Tuesday, October 6 to Thursday, October 15 around the Busan Cinema Center.
