A fire of unknown origin broke out at a waterproof sheet manufacturing company in Samsung-myeon, Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, at around 11:00 PM yesterday (August 6).

Upon receiving the report, firefighting authorities issued a Level 1 response and deployed 33 pieces of equipment and about 100 personnel to extinguish the flames.

No casualties have been reported so far.

Police and firefighting authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the scale of the damage once the fire is put out.
