Senior Presidential Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung gave this response during a briefing today (the 6th) when asked about the selection of successors for former Supreme Court Justice Noh Tae-ak and Supreme Court Justice Lee Heung-goo.

Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae has not yet nominated a successor for former Justice Noh Tae-ak, who retired in March, giving rise to various interpretations. This is seen as an indirect call urging a swift nomination.

However, Cheong Wa Dae drew the line at connecting the current situation to Chief Justice Cho's future.

Earlier today, a media outlet reported, citing a key ruling party official, that Cheong Wa Dae shares the views of Democratic Party leadership candidates Song Young-gil and Kim Min-seok regarding the "impeachment of Cho Hee-dae." Senior Spokesperson Kang denied this, stating, "It is entirely untrue."
