The group THE BOYZ will continue their team activities as a nine-member group.

THE BOYZ members, SANGYEON, JACOB, YOUNGHOON, HYUNJAE, JUYEON, KEVIN, Q, SUNWOO, and ERIC, have reached a consensus to continue their group activities together without NEW, finalizing their group activity contract. They are currently preparing for activities under a new label system.

Before discussing individual activities, the members reportedly deliberated deeply, placing their decision for the fans (THE B), who might have been harboring long waits and worries, as their top priority. They determined that keeping the time and trust built with the fans was most important, and thus set the direction of the group clear first before setting out to prepare for individual activities.

Accordingly, each member's individual activities will be conducted through separate contracts with agencies that can maximize their respective capabilities, while group activities are planned to be pursued unwaveringly in close cooperation. The plan is to maintain a close cooperative system to ensure that THE BOYZ team activities continue stably while respecting individual activities.

The members stated, "The sentiment that all nine of us must be together has remained unchanged from the beginning," adding, "Above all, we wanted to share our intentions first with the fans who have been waiting and worrying about THE BOYZ group activities." They expressed their determination, saying, "While doing our best in our respective positions, we will do our best to continue the precious time we have built with the fans as THE BOYZ."

They added, "We sincerely thank THE B who have sent unwavering love and support. We will work hard to prepare so we can repay you with a good image. Please show us a lot of support."

THE BOYZ's specific future team activity plans and schedules will be revealed sequentially at a later date.

Meanwhile, the nine THE BOYZ members excluding NEW notified One Hundred Label last February of the termination of their exclusive contracts citing reasons such as unpaid settlements and damaged trust, and the court subsequently accepted their filed application for a provisional injunction to suspend the effect of the exclusive contracts. Cha Ga-won, head of One Hundred Label, was arrested last 3rd on charges of investment fraud amounting to tens of billions of won.
