A fire broke out at a port storage building in Goseong, Gangwon Province, and was extinguished in about an hour and a half.

At around 6:30 p.m. today (August 5), a report was received that a fire had broken out at a storage building used for fishing gear and other items at Daejin Port in Hyeonnae-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gangwon Province.

The fire department mobilized around 50 personnel and about 10 pieces of equipment, putting out the fire by around 8:00 p.m. with no casualties reported.

The fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the scale of the damage.
