Go Woo-suk, who was ejected after a foreign substance was found in his glove and initially handed a 10-game suspension before having it reduced to 8 games following an appeal through the players union, took the mound today for the first time since his suspension was lifted.



After retiring the first batter on a line drive to the second baseman following a full-count battle, he allowed a walk to the next batter, but then induced the following batter into a third-baseman grounder to turn a double play and close out the inning.



Throwing 17 pitches for one scoreless inning with a top speed of 153 km/h (95 mph), Go will remain in Triple-A as a depth bullpen option for Minnesota, which is currently in the thick of a fierce postseason race, as he eyes a promotion to the big leagues.

San Francisco's Lee Jung-hoo, who smashed two home runs yesterday in an away game against Texas, continued his extra-base hit streak to three games today by driving a double into left-center field during his second plate appearance in the third inning.



It marked his 26th double of the season, putting him in a tie for 9th place in the major leagues in that category.



However, he made a costly error on defense.



In the bottom of the 9th inning with the score tied 4–4 and two outs with runners on first and second, he chased down a deep fly ball by Duran, but misjudged the ball's trajectory and failed to make the catch.



As the play resulted in a walk-off loss, Lee hung his head in disappointment.
