President Lee Jae-myung is scheduled to preside over the second real estate and stock market inspection meeting the day after tomorrow (the 7th).

This second meeting will be held four days after he presided over a marathon meeting lasting more than seven hours on the 3rd, immediately after returning from his official tour of San Francisco and three South American countries.

According to Blue House officials, President Lee will preside over the meeting at the Blue House the day after tomorrow and focus discussions on housing supply measures.

During the previous meeting on the 3rd, President Lee urged Prime Minister Han Sung-sook and related cabinet ministers to comprehensively reexamine existing housing supply measures, look into realistic public demands from various angles, and meticulously push forward with implementation.

He also instructed them to arrange additional reports and follow-up inspection meetings regarding finance and housing supply within two to three days.

As President Lee has repeatedly emphasized housing supply and execution speed while ordering a "comprehensive reexamination" of supply measures, not only related cabinet ministers but also working-level officials are expected to attend the meeting the day after tomorrow to report on plans for securing housing supply volume.

Countermeasures for the stock market situation, such as the KOSPI index showing unprecedented sharp fluctuations, and particularly responses related to single-stock leverage ETFs, are also likely to be placed on the agenda.
