The National Museum Cultural Foundation is introducing the "Blackpink Heritage Collection" in collaboration with the group Blackpink.

Designed to mark Blackpink's 10th anniversary since debut, the collection consists of a total of seven items. It incorporates design elements inspired by Blackpink's signature colors of black and pink, as well as the "Jeokui-wonbon" (original pattern for Jeokui), a cultural heritage item housed in the National Museum of Korea.

The "Jeokui-wonbon" is a clothing pattern created to make the Jeokui, the ceremonial robe of the empress of the Korean Empire. The pattern harmoniously features 12 rows of pheasants, symbolizing the empress, and plum blossom designs representing the imperial family of the Korean Empire.

Under the slogan "Time Accumulates into Value," the foundation explained that the collection embodies the time walked by the artists and the symbolism accumulated within it, reinterpreting the symbolic nature of traditional patterns with a modern sensibility.

Jung Yong-sook, president of the National Museum Cultural Foundation, stated, "As visitors to the museum are becoming younger than ever, this collaboration with Blackpink is a meaningful attempt that naturally aligns with this change. We expect this collection to demonstrate how widely our cultural heritage can resonate when tradition and modern sensibility harmonize."

The "Blackpink Heritage Collection" will be displayed at Museum Shop 2 inside the Permanent Exhibition Hall of the National Museum of Korea starting on the 8th, with purchases available through official online and offline channels.

Online sales will be conducted through YG SELECT, while offline sales will proceed sequentially at the theSameE stores (Hapjeong, Insadong, and Myeongdong).
