School-level disciplinary actions have been taken against Baejae High School baseball team members who chanted cheers disparaging the May 18 Gwangju Democratization Movement during a baseball game against Gwangju Jeil High School.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, Baejae High School imposed heavy disciplinary action on two students who led the chants of "Let's go to Starbucks" and "Tank Day," and light disciplinary action on 10 students who followed along.

However, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education did not disclose the specific level of discipline out of concern for exposing the personal identities of individual students.
