A fire that broke out at a frozen warehouse belonging to a food company in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, at around 9:00 p.m. yesterday (August 4) was extinguished after about eight hours.

Fire authorities mobilized 22 vehicles and 75 personnel, completing firefighting operations at around 4:20 a.m. today.

There were no casualties, but one frozen warehouse building storing 20 tons of eggs and other items was completely destroyed, resulting in property damage estimated by the fire department at approximately 190 million won.

Fire authorities believe the fire was caused by electrical factors and are investigating the exact cause.
