First, a customer reportedly became angry after being caught eating food they brought themselves at a restaurant?
Person A, who runs a barbecue restaurant in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province, recently went through an absurd situation.
Six adults and three children came in, ordered only two packs of pork belly, and repeatedly asked for side dishes such as lettuce and garlic.
Finding this suspicious, the owner checked and found that they were grilling pork belly brought from outside on the grill, and had even prepared drinks and cooked rice themselves.
When Person A asked them to leave, stating that outside food is not allowed, the customers refused, saying, "We'll finish eating the grilled meat before leaving," and when the owner tried to remove the charcoal fire, they instead raised their voices and protested, according to the report.
Person A expressed frustration, saying, "In five years of running the business, this is the first time I've raised my voice at a customer."
Later, the customers changed their review event rating to the lowest possible score of 0.5 stars.
The owner stated that they are considering legal action based on CCTV footage and other evidence.
Netizens who heard the story responded with comments such as, "Isn't this blatant obstruction of business?" and "People need to maintain a basic level of common sense."
