Starting on the 10th of next month, minor traffic accident patients suffering from sprains or bruises will be required to undergo a review by a medical professional if they wish to receive treatment for more than eight weeks.

This measure aims to reduce unnecessary insurance payouts for over-treatment involving so-called fake patients.

However, pregnant women and infants aged 7 or younger will be able to continue receiving treatment without a medical professional review.
