Moon Min-seo of K League 1 side Gwangju FC has been named the brightest young star of July.
The K League announced on the 4th that Moon Min-seo has been selected as the winner of the K League Young Player Award for July of the 2026 season.
The July Young Player Award was evaluated based on a total of five matches held from Round 16 to Round 20 of K League 1, with a total of eight candidates including Moon Min-seo (Gwangju), Kwon Gi-min (Jeju), Kim Dong-jin (Pohang), and Seo Jae-min (Incheon).
Born in 2004, midfielder Moon Min-seo appeared in all five matches played in July, recording two goals and one assist.
In particular, Moon secured the honor of winning the July Young Player Award through standout performances, such as scoring equalizing goals in the 16th round against Ulsan and the 18th round against Anyang to rescue his team from defeat.
Moon will be awarded a trophy along with prize money.
