SBS's new dating reality show "My Remaining Romance" captivated viewers from its very first episode with touching sincerity and an unpredictable, twist-filled narrative.

In the premiere of "My Remaining Romance" on August 3, eight young men and women—Kim Sun-ho, Jung Ye-ji, Han Do-gon, Seo Ro-bin, Kim Ryun-ki, Kim Jong-eun, Kang Min-young, and Kim Na-young—moved into the house and had their exciting first encounters.

The highlight of the episode was the sharing session where the cast members confessed their scars through their "battle diaries." Heartbreaking stories followed: Seo Ro-bin received a bone marrow transplant from her older sister; Han Do-gon was diagnosed with blood cancer after living a healthy life through exercise and volunteering; Kim Jong-eun had to give up her dream of becoming a firefighter due to acute myeloid leukemia; Jung Ye-ji crossed the threshold of life and death in a sterile room; Kim Sun-ho endured a rare form of cancer during his military service; Kim Ryun-ki underwent a total gastrectomy for stomach cancer; Kim Na-young lost her hearing to a brain tumor; and Kang Min-young endured multiple difficult surgeries for osteosarcoma, which developed when she was in her teens.

After sharing experiences they had nowhere else to confide, the cast members comforted each other warmly, saying they felt relieved. MC Choi Ye-na, watching them through the VCR, also confessed her own childhood experience with pediatric cancer (lymphoma), showing deep empathy for the cast.

In the latter half of the broadcast, a differentiated "Room of Time" matching system was unveiled. It is a structure where participants freely give and take the time given to them for a day, and a date is successfully arranged when the combined time totals 100 minutes or more, heightening tension by visually displaying psychological warfare and emotional shifts.

In particular, on the first night, Kim Sun-ho shocked the studio by hinting at a fateful reunion, confessing, "As time goes by, I feel like the person I have in mind is right. Actually, I already know that person." Witnessing this, MC Lee Se-young could not close her mouth in surprise, saying, "Even dramas would get criticized if written like this," maximizing curiosity about the upcoming love lines.

Episode 2 of "My Remaining Romance," which promises heavy resonance, fluttering excitement, and a fateful reunion as youths who have crossed the boundaries of life and death comfort each other's scars, will air on August 10.
