'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' Pulls in 400,000 Even on Second Monday in Korea; Impressive Power

The film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is showing a hot box office run, drawing over 400,000 daily moviegoers even on the Monday of its second week.

According to the Korea Box Office Information System (KOBIS) of the Korean Film Council on the 4th, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" attracted 401,774 people nationwide on the 3rd, maintaining its position at number one in the box office. The cumulative number of moviegoers reached 3,785,902.

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day," which broke the opening record for movies released in 2026 by drawing 680,000 daily moviegoers on its first day, achieved the remarkable feat of surpassing 3 million viewers in its first weekend. It is continuing its dash toward a massive box office hit by mobilizing over 400,000 people even on Monday, a weekday in its second week.

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is an action blockbuster where Peter Parker, who was forgotten by everyone due to the events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," faces new threats to protect those he holds dear, while falling into deeper confusion amid the emergence of a mysterious enemy who remembers his identity and uncontrollable power gained from DNA mutation.

Meanwhile, "HOPE" attracted 63,920 people on the same day, keeping its spot at number two in the box office. The cumulative number of moviegoers is 4,174,470.
