Red Velvet has released their new mini-album "Velvet Summer" after a two-year hiatus.

This marks their long-awaited full-group comeback following individual solo activities by the members.

Member Joy said, "Now that we are meeting again after a long time, I want to engrave better memories and moments than ever before."

The title track "Surfin' Boy" is a dance song that stands out with its refreshing melody and the members' cool yet dreamy harmony.

Joy wrote the lyrics entirely by herself.

Joy stated, "It contains my feelings for Red Velvet and our fans," adding, "I hope my sincerity gets across."
