President Lee Jae-myung, who has wrapped up his 11-day trip across 7 countries, presided over an inspection meeting regarding the real estate and stock markets at the presidential office immediately upon his return yesterday (August 3).
During the meeting, which lasted for seven and a half hours, President Lee instructed Prime Minister Han Seong-sook and ministers of related ministries to thoroughly re-examine existing housing supply measures, while also directing them to arrange a follow-up meeting for additional reports and reviews within the next two to three days.
Emphasizing housing supply, speed, and securing sufficient supply volumes in particular, President Lee ordered officials to find ways to drive prompt housing supply by utilizing administrative measures, finance, public finances, and deregulation.
