Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Koo Yun-cheol announced the 2026 tax reform plan at the Government Complex-Sejong today (August 3).

Deputy Prime Minister Koo stated, "This tax reform plan aims to support a great economic leap forward for an irreplaceable South Korea. It has been prepared with three main directions: first, supporting a rebound in potential growth rate; second, supporting people's livelihoods and regional areas; and third, establishing fair taxation."
