On August 3, the organizers of the 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer (hereafter Gayo Daejeon Summer) announced the formation of the special team "SUMMER KUEENS," consisting of JULIE and NATTY from the group KISS OF LIFE, and KOKO and Choi Jung-eun from the group izna.

The team name "SUMMER KUEENS" is crafted by combining the letter K from KOKO, U from JULIE, E from Choi Jung-eun, and N from NATTY, promising to deliver an unrivaled aura that commands attention the moment they step on stage.

As hot members from KISS OF LIFE—beloved for their irreplaceable energetic charm and powerful performances—and next-generation global rising stars izna come together, this stage previews an explosive synergy unseen anywhere else.

The production team for Gayo Daejeon Summer stated, "The hottest artists have gathered in the hottest season to prepare a stage that will properly fuel the heat of the festival. Meanwhile, the 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, which is heightening expectations among global K-pop fans through various special stages, will be held on Sunday, August 9, at KINTEX in Ilsan.
