It has been estimated that more than 150,000 music fans flocked to the 2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, South Korea's premier rock music festival, over its three-day run.

The Incheon Metropolitan City government announced that the 2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, held for three days from July 31 to yesterday at the Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, concluded successfully.

Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year under the theme of "RE:BOOT," the festival significantly expanded its performance lineup and convenience facilities for attendees.

A total of 66 domestic and international acts took to the stage, including British trip-hop legends Massive Attack, American alternative rock icons Pixies, globally beloved Khruangbin, Hyukoh, and Lee Seung-yoon.

In addition to the performances, interactive programs that allowed audiences to directly participate and enjoy heightened the festival atmosphere. A large "Cool Zone" equipped with radio broadcasts was also operated to help visitors escape the heat and enjoy the festival even while waiting for shows.

Notably, an official mobile application was introduced for the first time this year, enhancing visitor convenience by providing a GPS-based venue map, real-time congestion levels, entry and exit routes, crowd flow, performance start alerts, schedules, and key announcements.

To prepare for the scorching heat, medical booths were expanded and medical staff were stationed on-site around the clock to provide primary emergency treatment at the nearest makeshift medical clinic in case of emergencies.

During the three-day event, a total of seven people—six visitors and one vendor staff member—were transported to hospitals for heat-related illnesses and received treatment.

The Incheon city government evaluated that the event brought a vibrant boost to the local economy as crowds of visitors packed nearby restaurants, cafes, and commercial districts.
