"Flex X Cop 2" is set to continue the undefeated "refreshing hit" myth of SBS Friday-Saturday dramas.

Premiering on the 7th, SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Flex X Cop 2" (written by Kim Ba-da, directed by Kim Jae-hong) is an exhilarating, high-end cooperative investigation drama featuring Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a chaebol detective who turns tables with his wealth when investigations hit a wall, and new team leader Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae).

During Season 1, "Flex X Cop" recorded a peak viewership rating of 11% (Nielsen Korea, Seoul metropolitan area), establishing itself as a representative seasonal IP for SBS. It delivered a differentiated, refreshing thrill through its so-called "FLEX investigation," mobilizing private helicopters, supercars, and famous celebrities.

Season 2 is raising anticipation to cap off SBS's 2026 Friday-Saturday drama lineup in style. Previously, SBS achieved back-to-back successes with "My Royal Nemesis," loved for its characters' sharp remarks, and "Agent Kim Reactivated," which sparked a syndrome with exhilarating action. "Flex X Cop 2" will follow suit to captivate viewers with an upgraded level of "wealth-powered refreshment."

Market reactions are already hot. According to Good Data Corporation's FUNdex survey, even before its broadcast, it entered the TV drama buzz rankings for the 4th week of July at number 9, proving high expectations.

In Season 2, Jin Yi-soo, now a full-fledged detective, will showcase an even larger scale, deploying a private jet to wipe out crime. Furthermore, the addition of the new Major Crimes Unit Team 1 Leader Joo Hye-ra promises an even richer teamwork dynamic.

In addition, extraordinary episodes such as a "pipe bomb terror incident" will be accompanied by a dazzling cameo lineup including Yoo Seung-ho, Kim Eui-sung, Lee Hak-joo, Heo Sung-tae, Jung Chae-yeon, Jeon Hye-bin, and Kim Hye-eun.
