Choi Geun-hwan and Kwon Do-yoon Claim Masters 1 Victory at Inje GT Masters Round 3

Choi Geun-hwan and Kwon Do-yoon (B.O.B RACING × Ajou Motor Institute) secured their first win of the season with a "pole-to-win" (finishing first in both the preliminary and final) in the Masters 1 class of Round 3 at the 2026 Inje GT Masters, South Korea's sole endurance race.

In the Masters 1 class final of Round 3 at the 2026 Inje GT Masters held yesterday (August 2) at Inje Speedium (3.908 km) in Inje-gun, Gangwon Province, Choi Geun-hwan and Kwon Do-yoon triumphed by completing 84 laps over three hours, overcoming a scorching heatwave with track temperatures nearing 60°C.

Showcasing a dominant race with a massive 8-lap lead over runners-up Kim Jae-jung and Choi Chul-hyun (DMZ, 76 laps), Choi Geun-hwan and Kwon Do-yoon claimed their maiden victory of the season and landed on the podium for three consecutive events (3rd in Round 1, 3rd in Round 2, and 1st in Round 3).

Choi Geun-hwan and Kwon Do-yoon said, "It was a tough race in the hot weather. We want to thank our team members who focused on the cooling setup to help the machine endure the intense heat," adding, "We will do our best in the remaining races with the goal of becoming season champions."

Meanwhile, Cho Ye-chan, Hong Jun-ki, and Yum Gi-tae (AXIS Racing) topped the Masters 2 class, while Jung Si-hyun and Lee Jae-yong (Bongjwa Racing) claimed the top spot in the Masters 3 class.

In the Masters N class, Lee Sang-jin, Kim Se-jin, and Ryan Lee (Bianco Works Racing Team) secured the victory, and Jung Jung-jae, Shin Hyung-joo, and Choi Yoon-min (Pitstop Motorsports) took home the win in the Masters N-evo class.
