A man in his 60s riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a following excavator on a road in Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province.

At around 10:00 a.m. today (August 2), an excavator driven by a man in his 60s, identified as A, struck a bicycle ahead of it at Hwangjeong Bridge in Dodong, Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province.

The man in his 60s who was riding the bicycle died.

Police have stated that the incident was not a drunk driving accident and are investigating the exact circumstances.
