Veteran right-hander Carlos Carrasco (39, LG Twins), who picked up 112 wins in Major League Baseball (MLB), put on a truly dominant performance in his KBO League debut.

Starting an away game against the Doosan Bears at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on August 1, Carrasco completely shut down the Doosan lineup with a flawless pitching display, allowing no hits or walks over 7 innings.

He struck out 2 batters.

His pitch count was a mere 74, averaging just over 10 pitches per inning.

Carrasco handed the ball over to Woo Kang-hoon in the bottom of the 8th inning with a 2-0 lead, having met the requirements for a win.

Considering it was his first appearance on the Korean stage, LG manager Yeom Kyoung-yup limited his pitch count to around 70; otherwise, it was a performance so astounding that one could only wonder what incredible records might have unfolded further.

Carrasco, who surprised many by choosing LG after recording 112 wins (105 losses) across 17 seasons in the big leagues up to this year, arrived in Korea on July 24 and took the mound for a real game just 8 days later.
