LG Twins' newly acquired 39-year-old veteran pitcher Carlos Carrasco, who boasts 112 career wins in the Major Leagues, delivered a dazzling performance with a 7-inning perfect game in his South Korean professional baseball debut.

Boasting one of the greatest careers in major league history with 112 wins across 343 games over 17 seasons, pitcher Carrasco lived up to his illustrious reputation with a brilliant pitching display in his debut on the Korean stage.

Although his velocity was not exceptionally high for a foreign pitcher, he freely mixed as many as six different pitches to induce weak contact. Facing the Doosan Bears, he pitched seven perfect innings, allowing no hits and no walks while striking out just two batters.

In the fifth inning with no outs and runners on first and second against the Hanwha Eagles, the KT Wiz completed the second triple play of the season when third baseman Huh Kyung-min fielded Han Ji-yoon's batted ball and threw to second and first base.
