A man in his 30s, identified as A, suffered cardiac arrest after falling into a stream in Gwangpum-ri, Onjeong-myeon, Uljin-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, at around 8:09 PM yesterday (July 31).

A's companion found and rescued him before reporting the incident to the 119 emergency service. Emergency responders transported A, who was in a state of cardiac arrest, to a hospital.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning companions and other witnesses.
