Apparent temperatures are rising to around 35°C in most parts of the country, and Yangsan is forecast to see daytime highs soar to 41°C, following yesterday (the 31st). Extreme sweltering heat will continue today, centered around the Gyeongsang region.

Currently, the highest level of heat wave special warnings, a severe heat wave critical warning, has been issued for various parts of Gyeongsang, including Busan and Yangsan, where daytime temperatures are expected to soar to around 39°C.

In particular, Yangsan recorded the highest temperature in South Korea's meteorological observation history yesterday, and is expected to climb up to 41°C again today.

Since this level of heat can threaten even the lives of healthy individuals, outdoor activities should be avoided as much as possible.

Next week, the heat wave in western regions, including Seoul, will reach its peak.

Daytime highs in Seoul are expected to climb to 37°C.

Strong solar radiation is also expected nationwide today, so you need to pay attention to UV protection.

Tropical nights also occurred in most areas overnight.

Current temperatures in Seoul are hovering above 27°C (81°F).

Daytime temperatures will rise to 37°C (99°F) in Gangneung and 39°C (102°F) in Busan, continuing the intense heat seen yesterday.
