A fire broke out on the 7th floor of an apartment in Deokyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, at around 10:20 PM last night (July 30), and was extinguished about 1 hour and 40 minutes later.

The fire left a man in his 30s and a woman in his 60s—who were inside the apartment—severely and slightly injured, respectively, and they were transported to a hospital. Meanwhile, 10 residents evacuated in an emergency.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
