Do you remember this scene? Three years ago at the Hangzhou Asian Games, South Korean table tennis mixed doubles pair Shin Yubin and Lim Jong-hoon drew widespread attention with their affectionate celebration on the podium. Now, they have declared their ambition to perform a gold medal celebration at the upcoming Nagoya Games.

Shin Yubin and Lim Jong-hoon won a mixed doubles bronze medal alongside Jeon Ji-hee and Jang Woo-jin at the Hangzhou Asian Games, capturing the hearts of fans during the awards ceremony.

When Chinese spectators cheered as Jang Woo-jin sweetly straightened Jeon Ji-hee's collar, Lim Jong-hoon playfully adjusted Shin Yubin's collar and joined her in making a cheek heart, prompting praise that it looked like a scene from a K-drama.

Sweating it out in training ahead of the Nagoya Games in September, Shin Yubin and Lim Jong-hoon are dreaming of a gold medal celebration this time.

Entering their fifth year of playing together as a pair, the two athletes have more than earned the right to target the gold.

By defeating the world number one mixed pair of Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha consecutively at the WTT Finals in December of last year and the Smash finals in the United States last month, they have brightened their prospects for victory at the Asian Games.

They kept quiet about their strategy for overcoming Chinese opponents.
