"Donggung," which depicts the story of Gu-cheon (played by Nam Joo-hyuk), who has the ability to cross the world of ghosts, Saeng-gang (played by Roh Yoon-seo), a court lady hiding a secret, and the King (played by Cho Seung-woo) as they delve into the curse of the Eastern Palace, has gained heated popularity, entering 2nd place in Netflix's global TOP 10 non-English shows in its 2nd week of release and ranking 1st in TV-OTT integrated drama buzz for 2 consecutive weeks.

Along with the box office success of the work, interest in Kkeomeoksal-i, a ghost guarding Gu-cheon's side, is also hot. Originating from urban legends and created like a companion ghost, Kkeomeoksal-i has received nicknames such as "Joseon Groot" and "Post-Dobby," receiving love from global fans.

The affection of the lead actors is also special. Nam Joo-hyuk said, "Because it is a very special existence that helps Gu-cheon, I felt a lot of affection for it," and Roh Yoon-seo showed affection, saying, "Even though it looks small and cute, it is a 'cheat-key character' with a reverse charm strong enough to harm other ghosts."
