Singer Seo In-young has shared updates on her preparations for the stage ahead of her scheduled appearance at Waterbomb Sokcho 2026.

On the 29th, an interview video featuring Seo was posted on the official Waterbomb social media account. In the video, Seo appeared wearing a long-haired wig, a white short-sleeved t-shirt, hot pants, and boots, showcasing her slimmer figure.

Seo expressed her excitement for the Waterbomb stage, saying, "I've been waiting for this so much. It is so good to see you." She showed confidence, adding, "Now is the time to show you. I have prepared many things. First of all, I spent a lot of money on self-care. Since I've invested heavily in treatments and care, please look forward to a stage that will delight your eyes and ears."

Regarding her stage concept, she teased, "A stage that is truly Seo In-young, and high heels are all prepared. Come and see for yourself."

She showed her affection for the performance, stating, "You must have waited a long time as well, and I've been preparing really hard ever since I got the call from Waterbomb." Ahead of the main concert, Seo heightened expectations by performing a medley of hit songs, including cover songs such as 'Baby One More Time', 'Cinderella', and Jewelry's 'Super Star', alongside her own hits 'I Want You' and 'That Dance in the Rhythm'.

This Waterbomb performance holds special significance for Seo. She has practically not stood on an official stage since her appearance on MBC's 'King of Mask Singer' in 2021. Afterward, she went through marriage and divorce, temporarily halting her activities, before returning to the public eye last March by launching her YouTube channel 'Gae-gwa-cheon-seon Seo In-young'. This Waterbomb appearance is drawing attention as her first major stage since her return through YouTube.

Ahead of the performance, Seo has been steadily sharing updates on her weight loss and procedures through YouTube. In a video released on the 15th, she revealed, "I don't eat much these days," adding, "I lost weight down to 46kg, but gained 4kg back," while sharing that she has been eating boiled eggs instead of rice. Furthermore, in a video released on the 22nd, she appeared with bruises on her face and arms, revealing that she had received a skin booster treatment and arm liposuction.

Meanwhile, 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026' will take place on August 22 at Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano, with Rain, Tiger JK, Yoon Mi-rae, Simon Dominic, and Lee Young-ji featured in the lineup.
